Signing up is easy. La Jolla’s Festival of the arts is welcoming a new
addition to this well attended community event.
Chalk La Strada: a street painting event that will transform
a parking lot into a pavement ”canvas”, squares of art sponsored
by business, organizations, schools and individuals.
There will be a children’s drawing area in addition to the
children’s activity area. Children squares are two by two
for $10.00. Individual chalk sponsored squares are
$500 and $1000 for festival sponsors. To sponsor a square
select your own artist or we can provide one. No words
or symbols can be used for advertising. Chalk will be
provided and sponsors names will be displayed.
